OK everyone I meant to post this blog a long time ago but was caught up in other stuff and just got to post this! If yo have been reading my blogs, you will know that I am a huge fan of Tatcha. I have tried almost all their products and I use so many of them on a daily basis. I don’t think I have ever tried a product that I didn’t like.

Below are more blogs I wrote on Tatcha, feel free to read them!

Starting off with the all time classic, the Tatcha the Rice Polish Enzyme Powder.

Tatcha the Rice Polish Enzyme Powder

Tatcha the Rice Polish Enzyme Powder

Brand’s description: A water-activated exfoliant of nourishing Japanese Rice Bran that transforms to a creamy foam for smooth, polished skin with a healthy glow.

The Rice Polish gives your skin a new beginning through non-abrasive exfoliation and pure Japanese ingredients delivered in a cloud-like foam. Finely ground rice bran and papaya enzymes promote natural skin turnover to instantly reveal a smooth, makeup-ready canvas. The pH neutral, amino acid base formula provides effective cleansing without stripping skin of essential moisture or breaking the skin’s barrier function, leaving skin baby-soft and supple. Hadasei-3™, a trio of anti-aging Japanese superfoods - green tea, rice and algae - helps restore healthy-looking, youthful radiance. Daily use helps to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation and breakouts.

Each Rice Polish is formulated with an active ingredient tailored for a specific skin type. The Rice Polish: Classic features Silk protein to condition and nourish normal to dry skin.

How to use: Begin with wet hands and face. Pour ½ teaspoon of powder into hands and rub together to create a creamy foam. Gently massage onto face for 15 seconds, avoiding the eye area. Rinse with warm water.

For best results, follow the Kyoto Cleanse ritual. Melt makeup away with the Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, then smooth and soften skin with The Rice Polish.

Yes, I also use the Camellia cleansing oil and then use this afterwards. The result is super soft skin!

You can see that this comes in a powder form. Just pour it out and mix a little water with it. Then massage your face with it. I love that this is a very subtle, non-abrasive face scrub that doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I prefer this over all bead scrubs in the market.

If you think you are paying too much for a simple powder, I suggest you get a sample first to see if you like it. But I think it’s worth the investment.

Next it the Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil. This is my all-time holy grail cleansing oil.

Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

Brand’s description: This 2-in-1 makeup remover and cleanser of Camellia Oil gently melts away impurities, even waterproof makeup, leaving behind pure, silky soft skin.

Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil thoroughly cleanses the skin without stripping it of its natural moisture, leaving skin balanced and nourished. It does not contain mineral oil, so the liquid emulsifies completely and leaves no oily residue. Ideal for all skin types.

  • Japanese Camellia Oil (Tsubaki): Richer in oleic acid than olive oil and an excellent source of Vitamins A, B, D and E and nourishing Omegas 3, 6, and 9, this featherweight botanical oil has been prized in Asia for centuries for its superb moisturizing and antioxidant activity.

  • Hadasei-3â„¢ Complex: Tatcha's proprietary trio of Japanese anti-aging superfoods—Green Tea, Rice and Algae—helps to restore healthy-looking, youthful radiance.

For best results, follow with the Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder.

I have tried many cleansing oils in my life, and this one ranks as my favourite, literally. I initially tried it as a travel size and immediately fell in love and bought more of the full size. It removes me makeup completely, doesn’t feel greasy on my skin (some other cleansing oil gross me out), and has a pleasant scent. I don’t think I can distinguish between different oils in any more aspects: 1. It feels good on my skin 2.It does what it’s supposed to do. Isn’t that enough right?

Next is something I use almost every night: The Essence.

Tatcha The Essence Plumping Skin Softener

Tatcha The Essence Plumping Skin Softener

Brand’s description: A resurfacing softener of 98.7% pure anti-aging Japanese superfoods that makes all skincare work better.

A daily 7-second ritual to reveal your softest, most youthful skin, delivering:

  • Anti-aging: Pure, 98.7% Hadasei-3â„¢, a concentrate of nourishing Green Tea, Rice and Algae, Japan's three essential nutrients for skin health and youthful radiance.

  • Smoothing & Resurfacing: The natural fermentation of these nutrients produces lactic acid, helping to increase cell turnover for improved skin texture and a smooth luster.

  • Plumping Hydration: Instantly doubles skin's natural moisture content, above and beyond the results from a moisturizer, softening & plumping fine lines & wrinkles.

  • Maximizes Performance of All Skincare: Skin's channels are flush with lasting hydration, creating a pathway to deliver treatments that follow more deeply, amplifying their effectiveness.

Use daily, after cleansing and before any other skincare. Splash a palmful of The Essence into your hand, and press gently into the skin on your face and neck.

Yes, I use this essence right after I finish cleaning my face. Just pour the water in my palms and press into skin. It helps my skin absorb other skincare products better. Sometimes I also use this in the morning when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time for other skincare. Mt skin immediately feels super soft! I think you can see I love this essence so much that I bought 3 as backups!

Lastly, the Water Gel. I have to admit that I mistaken this for a serum when I bought it, but it turns out to be a nice morning gel!

Tatcha Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel Moisturizer

Tatcha Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel Moisturizer

Brand’s description: An ultralight gel moisturizer designed for oily skin that balances, clarifies and refines skin with timeless Japanese botanicals.

This unique gel absorbs quickly for oil-balancing hydration and a petal-fresh finish that lasts all day. The formula features Japanese Wild Rose to visibly tighten pores and smooth skin texture. It also contains Japanese Dokudam, known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, to help calm and clarify active skin.

Hadasei-3™, an anti-aging trio of Japanese superfoods—green tea, rice & algae—restores healthy-looking, youthful radiance. A hint of 23-karat gold dust gives skin an instant shine-free glow.

Massage one to two pumps of the Water Gel over face, neck and décolletage in upward strokes. Use daily, morning and night.

Now the reason I said this is for morning is that there are pearls in this gel. I don’t want to use anything with shimmers or something artificial at night, so that’s why I use this in the morning only (even though the brand says you can use it at night as well).

See? Gold.

Out of all of Tatcha skincare, this one is best suited to be used in the morning, in my opinion. It is light enough and even provides a subtle glow. The formula also promises to tighten pores. However, I can’t really see how my skin has improved after using this gel because I always put makeup on afterwards. But if it feels good when I put it on, then its good enough for me.
