Herbivore Botanicals Body Products Review

Hello everyone, today’s blog is on Herbivore Body products! I have used them for a while but I just thought about posting about them. Most of the products I got from a set.

Let’s start with the body polishes shall we?

First up is the Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub

Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub

Brand’s description: Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub is a highly moisturizing blend of Virgin Coconut Oil and delicately floral Moroccan Rose. Leaves skin soft and hydrated with a light scent of coconut and rose petals.

Recommended for: Coco Rose Body Scrub is suitable for all skin.

Target concerns:
+ Dryness
+ Dullness

Scent: Coconut and subtle rose
Texture: Medium-grain polish
Color: Pale pink

Massage a handful of Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub all over the skin.

Let sit for 1-2 minutes for complete hydration. Rinse off.
Immediately after bathing, apply 2-3 pumps of Jasmine Body Oil all over the skin.

This scrub has a coconut based scent topped with a bit of rose. The texture is not too abrasive, its just perfectly in the middle between abrasive and no effect (although I prefer using abrasive scrubs on my legs). So I have been using these on my arms. The scrub doesn’t dissolve in the water right away, so it does a good job scrubbing my skin.

Nฺext up is the Amethyst Exfoliating Body Scrub

Scent: Jasmine with a hint of coconut
Texture: Fine-grain scrub
Color: Lilac

Massage a handful of Body Scrub all over the skin.

The texture of Amethyst scrub is like the Coco Rose scrub, just with a different scent. I personally prefer Amethyst (I have already gone ahead and purchased the full sized jar).

Next up is the Jasmine Body Oil.

Concentrated Moisture. Oils are concentrated, long-lasting, and effective moisturizers. Our oils sink in deeply to moisturize and nourish with antioxidants and vitamins, which work to hydrate dry skin and give it a radiant glow.

Scent: Jasmine
Texture: Lightweight body oil
Color: Pale yellow

Apply to clean, dry skin and massage in. Formulated to work best as a body product, not recommended for facial use.

We recommend using SPF during the day after use of this product to prevent sun damage. Store in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.

OK I am really in love with this body oil. First of all, the scent is heavenly! I am obsessed with Jasmine scents to begin with, and this oil hits me right in my weak spot.

The texture of this oil is pretty thick (compared to other body oils that I have tried). Many oils that I have used are so watery that it usually drips on my bedsheets. this oil is not watery enough to drip by itself.

That being said, when massaged into my skin, it doesn’t feel extra tacky. My skin feels so luxe after using this body oil. If you are a fan of jasmine, go for it!
