So this blog will be about three items, the Velvet Orchid perfume, the Velvet Orchid Lipstick, and the Virgin Orchid Eyeshadow Quad. Let me begin with the original Velvet Orchid, the perfume!

I think I have a total of 5 Tom Ford perfumes now if I’m not mistaken, and this is my sixth. I’ve always loved the Velvet Orchid perfume whenever I spray it at the Tom Ford counter (i love oriental scents), but I’ve always said to myself “I already have enough perfumes!”. But now that it’s got a lipstick pair, it makes it even more collectable. The scent is so mysterious yet office-friendly. I have been wearing this scent to work for a while now.

And the perfume now has a lipstick to match it!

This shade comes in a special luxe purple packaging, to match the perfume bottle. The shade itself it just beyond beautiful. It’s a plummish color but has a bit of brick mixed in. OK I’m bad at explaining this, just swipe for the swatches. The shimmers are very fine. Once on the lips, it doesn’t sparkle like a disco ball, but it very subtle and just looks so classy. Like seriously this is one of the most interesting shades Tom Ford has come out in a while now.

And lastly, the Virgin Orchid Eyeshadow Quad. It’s not part of the Velvet Orchid collection but it seems appropriate to put it in this blog, since it’s also Orchid themed.

Out of all the new eyeshadow quad additions, It’s one of the few quads that I think “ah this one I can definitely see myself buying”. It’s a shade you can wear any day and anytime. Gives a feminine look, but you can build it up to be dramatic as well. This palette is also all shimmer shades. The shimmers are really find and are just so perfect.
