MAC Supreme Beam + Dazzle Collection swatches
Some new items I picked up from MAC cosmetics. From the Supreme Beam collection, I got the Grand Illusion Holographic Liquid Lipcolour in shade Party Sparkle, Hyper Real foundations in shades Violet and Gold FX, Iridescent Loose Powder in shade Silver Dusk. From the Dazzle Collection, I picked up the Dazzle Highlighter in shade Dazzlepink and two Dazzle shadow Liquids in shades Rayon Rays and Love Yourself.
First up, the Hyper Real foundations.
I got the Hyper Real foundations in shades Violet and Gold FX. These aren’t foundations (like the name might suggest), but are highlighters to be mixed with foundations. Violet has a pinky purplish shift, while Golf FX has a golden champagne shift. I think these are less noticeable than normal liquid highlighters, since they’re designed especially to be mixed with foundations. They are just great.
My only problem is the bottle, its quite hard to control the amount I wanna use, as there are no applicators. Mac can you fix this for the future?
Below are unblended swatches.
And here’s the blended swatches.
Next, the Iridescent Loose Powder in shade Silver Dusk . I think this is way too glittery for the whole face, but rather for only spots you wanna highlight. I’d say this is more like a loose highlighter. Nevertheless, it is pretty!
Lastly from the Supreme Beam collection, the Grand Illusion Holographic Liquid Lipcolour in shade Party Sparkle. I love the minty sensation when applying these! This is already my fourth shade of this formula . Swatches below
Next is the Dazzle collection!
First up, the Dazzle shadow Liquids in shades Rayon Rays and Love Yourself. I love the longevity of these! They don’t budge at all. Also love the different finishes from shimmery to glittery.
And finally, the Dazzle Highlighter in shade Dazzlepink. To be honest I bought it just cause out of curiosity, but oh my is it glittery! The glitter sparkles are quite big, and therefore it’s VERY noticeable on the face. I can’t wear this on a normal workday for sure, maybe on my eyelids though. Will be keeping this for weekends or parties . . .
