2. Using kabuki brush n°17, dot the highlighter onto the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the cupid's bow and the chin to reveal hints of light.

The Dior Backstage Contour Palette contains:
- Two beige and bronze highlighting powders with supremely easy-to-blend textures and highly concentrated shimmery pigments for a seamlessly natural and luminous effect.

Below are the swatches. To be honest, I wasn’t impressed with this palette at all. The promo photos and pics on instragram look really pretty in the pan, but I feel like this is a mediocre product.

Also, it seems to be most suited for pale-light skin.I don’t think the first two shades will show up on medium skin at all.

1. Apply the primer to the entire mobile eyelid.
2. Add color to the lid with a light shade on the brow arch.
3. Intensify the eyes by applying a more intense shade along the lashline and to the outside corner of the eye.
4. Deepen the eyes by applying a darker shade under the eye, then blend.

For a natural look:
1. Apply a more intense shade to the entire mobile eyelid to open up the eyes, then add a darker shade along the lashline to add definition.

Dior Backstage Eye Palette contains:
- An eye primer that reinforces the eyeshadows' hold and boosts their color.
- Eight powders for use as eyeshadow or liner:
three shimmer shades and three ultra-pigmented matte shades adorn the eyes, complemented by a highlighting hue and a sculpting shadow.

Dior Backstage Eye Palette- Warm Neutrals swatches

Here are the swatches of the first half in two different lighting.

From the photo below, you can see that the shades barely show up on my arm. They all lean very nude and neutral, which is understandable because this palette is for runways. You can create a natural, bright eye look with these shades.

I also like the fact that the first shade is an eye primer, because you will definitely need it for these shades to show up on your lids. However, I don’t think the amound provided will make it past the first few weeks of using this palette, so you will end up using up all the primer long before you hit pan (but whi hits pan on eyeshadow palettes right?).

As for the darker shades, they really add on the intensity for a more sophistication. Overall, I think this palette is for pale-light skin (as are Dior models), and for natural-neutral looks.

For us makeup addicts, I feel like we all have these shades already multiple times in our many palettes. It’s a pass for me.
